Besides being a hobbyist designer and artist, I also write music, and have been producing for over a decade. When I learned of Darkness Rises, I was ecstatic: my favorite game, coming back. As a young adult, I grew up listening to film soundtracks, video game soundtracks and music expanding dozens of genres. One day I decided that maybe I could do something for Darkness Rises. First I reworked the original "Dark2" midi file from Darkness Falls. It was the most recognizable and memorable for me. And then I decided to do an original track, with the theme of "invasions and conquering" and came up with the title theme.
